Terms of Service

1. Agreement
Coach Carl is a service of Singhcredible LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company. By starting a trial, subscribing, or exchanging messages with Coach Carl, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Singhcredible LLC, referred to below as "we," "us," and "our."
2. What Coach Carl is
Coach Carl is an AI running coach you talk to through messaging. Carl asks about your training, listens to what you tell him, and proposes and adjusts a training plan based on your goals, your history, and how you are actually feeling.
Carl is delivered through Telegram today. We may add other messaging channels, including SMS and WhatsApp. Coach Carl can connect to Strava and Garmin to pick up your activities automatically, and you can also simply tell Carl what you did in plain words.
Coaching guidance from Carl is generated by artificial intelligence. Section 9 explains what that means and where the limits are.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Coach Carl. By using the service you confirm that you are 18 or older.
4. Your account
You are responsible for the security of the messaging account you use to reach Carl, for the accuracy of the information you give us, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.
Do not share your account with another person. Coach Carl builds a picture of one athlete over time, and a shared account produces bad coaching as well as breaking these Terms.
5. Subscription, trial, and billing
Coach Carl is sold as a monthly subscription.
- Free trial. New subscribers get a 7 day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start it. The free trial is available once per person; if you cancel and later resubscribe, your new subscription begins without a trial.
- Price. $29 per month. Your card is charged at the end of the free trial and monthly after that, until you cancel.
- Reminder before your first charge. We will send you a reminder before the trial ends, so you have the chance to cancel before any money moves.
- How to cancel. Send /cancel to Carl, or simply tell him you want to cancel, and he will confirm and process the cancellation right away. You can also reply to any email from us and ask us to cancel, and we will do it for you.
- Access after you cancel. Cancelling stops all future charges. Your access continues through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You are not cut off partway through a month you paid for.
- Refunds. If you cancel within 7 days of any charge, that charge is refunded in full. When you cancel with a refund, your access ends at the time of cancellation rather than at the end of the billing period, since the payment for that period is being returned. Outside that 7-day window, payments already made are not refundable, except where a refund is required by law. We may choose to issue a refund in an individual case at our sole discretion, and doing so does not create any obligation to do the same in another case.
- Price changes. We may change the subscription price. We will tell you by email before a change applies to you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Failed payments. If a charge fails we will retry it and let you know so you can update your payment method. Your access continues during the retry period. If payment has not succeeded by the end of that period, your subscription ends and your access stops.
- Payment processing. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Stripe's terms and privacy policy also apply to your transactions.
- Existing Training Vibes members. If you held a Training Vibes account before Coach Carl launched, the access terms you were given at that time continue to apply to you for as long as we offer the service.
6. Connected services
You may connect Coach Carl to third-party fitness services, currently Strava and Garmin. Connecting a service authorizes us to access the data you approve, through that service's official API. We do not ask for or store your login credentials for those services, and we do not write data back to them.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of data those services provide, for changes they make to their APIs, for their availability, or for their privacy practices. You can disconnect a service at any time.
7. What you tell Carl
You keep ownership of your training data and of everything you tell Carl. You grant us a licence to store and process it for the purpose of running the service, as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Coach Carl, we may use them without compensation or attribution.
8. Communications
Coach Carl is a messaging product, so messages are the service rather than a side effect of it. Each channel below is separate, and each can be turned off on its own.
Creating an account means you consent to receive email from us at the address you provide. We send a welcome email, weekly training reports, and account notifications such as billing confirmations and security alerts.
You can turn off weekly reports by asking Carl or by replying to any email. Account-critical email, meaning billing and security notices, cannot be turned off while your account is active, because it is necessary to operate your account.
You are responsible for keeping a working email address on file. We are not liable for email delayed or lost to spam filters or provider issues.
Telegram
Connecting your Telegram account to Coach Carl is how you consent to receive messages there. You connect by starting a conversation with the Coach Carl bot using the link or code we give you.
Message frequency depends on your training activity, typically 3 to 6 messages per week, and up to one per day if you switch on the optional daily brief.
Messages include check-ins after your activities, a weekly recap, plan proposals and adjustments, and account notifications.
You can stop Telegram messages at any time by sending /stop to the bot, or by asking Carl to stop messaging you.
Telegram messages travel over the internet, so there are no carrier charges. Standard data rates from your internet provider may apply. Delivery depends on Telegram's platform, and your use of Telegram is governed by Telegram's own Terms of Service. We are not liable for messages delayed or undelivered because of platform, network, or device issues.
SMS text messaging
If you opt in to SMS, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages from Coach Carl at the mobile number you provide. Consent to SMS is not a condition of buying or using Coach Carl.
Message frequency depends on your training activity, typically 3 to 6 messages per week, and up to one per day if you switch on the optional daily brief.
Messages include check-ins after your activities, weekly recaps, plan proposals and adjustments, and account notifications. Messages may contain links.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by asking Carl to stop texting you. You will get one confirmation message after opting out.

Message and data rates may apply. Check your plan with your mobile carrier.
SMS is available for United States mobile numbers on major carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed on every carrier. We are not liable for messages delayed or undelivered because of carrier, network, or device issues.
You are responsible for updating your number with us if it changes. We are not responsible for messages sent to a number you no longer control.
We use Twilio to deliver SMS. Opting in means your number and message content pass through Twilio's platform.
If you opt in to WhatsApp, you expressly consent to receive automated messages from Coach Carl at the WhatsApp number you provide. Consent to WhatsApp is not a condition of buying or using Coach Carl.
Message frequency, message content, and opt-out work the same way as SMS above. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or ask Carl to stop messaging you.
WhatsApp messages are delivered through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform using Twilio, and your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own terms. There are no carrier charges for WhatsApp messages, though standard data rates from your provider may apply. We are not liable for messages delayed or undelivered because of platform, network, or device issues.
9. Coaching generated by artificial intelligence
Carl's coaching is produced by large language models. You should understand what that means before you rely on it.
- Carl's messages are generated by software. Jeremy Singh designed Carl's coaching approach and the principles behind it, but he does not read and approve individual messages before they are sent to you.
- AI systems make mistakes. Carl may misread something you wrote, lose track of a detail, or propose a session that does not suit you on a given day.
- Carl is not a replacement for a human coach, a physician, a physical therapist, or any other qualified professional.
- If something Carl proposes feels wrong for your body, do not do it. Tell Carl and adjust the plan. Your judgment about your own body outranks his.
We use third-party AI providers, currently Anthropic and OpenAI, to generate Carl's responses and reports. Our Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled in that process.
10. Health and medical disclaimer
Coach Carl is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Everything Carl tells you is for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Talk to a healthcare professional before you begin a new exercise programme, before you make a significant change to your training, and any time you have pain, an injury, or symptoms that concern you.
Endurance training carries inherent risk of injury. You take on that risk when you train. We make no promise about the accuracy of any metric or the results of following any plan, and individual results vary.
If you have a medical emergency, contact emergency services. Do not message Carl.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Coach Carl to break the law, to attempt unauthorized access to our systems, to disrupt or overload the service, to scrape or bulk-extract data, to reverse engineer the service or extract source code, to misrepresent who you are, or to resell or redistribute Carl's output as your own coaching product.
12. Availability
Coach Carl is a product under active development, operated by a small business. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and the platforms we depend on, including Telegram, Twilio, WhatsApp, Stripe, Strava, and Garmin, may have outages outside our control.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SINGHCREDIBLE LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, FOR LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA, FOR INJURY OR HEALTH CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM TRAINING OR FROM FOLLOWING GUIDANCE PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE, FOR SERVICE INTERRUPTION OR DATA LOSS, OR FOR ERRORS IN DATA RECEIVED FROM THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Warranty disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF CONTENT, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, AND SECURITY.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or through Carl before it takes effect. Continuing to use Coach Carl after a change takes effect means you accept the new Terms. If you do not accept them, cancel your subscription and stop using the service.
16. Termination
You may close your account at any time by asking Carl or by emailing us.
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we close your account because we are discontinuing the service, we will refund the unused portion of any period you have already paid for.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
